current mood: - Sad listening to: Alexis Grace - Jolene
I dont really like how the judges from American Idol thinks about the contestants' performances. Last night when Alexis Grace was eliminated, I seriously cried. It was heartbreaking. Now, I dont have any reason to watch AI. And fuck Adam Lambert! He sounds like a mad cow and he's not even cute!
Here's the elimination episode where Simon even told Alex that she's the one they're planning to save but after she sang for them with all her heart out, they didnt gave her the chance. They're all freaks! Link
and here's the studio version of the song she performed.
I seriously believe they're letting go of those with real talents. -_-
*sighs*
..now, I have to go fix myself, I have class later so yeah, might update this again after school.
♥
editt;; *sighs* what a rough day! Im more stressed right now. My classes sure are helpful, but my brain's not genius enough to store a 6hours straight lectures every-fucking-day! And yes, Im hella ranting and complaining and I wont stop if they wont give us a break! So you see? Its not exciting at all graduating when you know you still have to go back to school everyday in your old white uniforms the next day till the end of May. *sighs*
Thats why I was really inspired when I watched The Brooke Ellison Story. Its about a kid who almost got killed from an automobile accident that left her paralyzed from the neck down but still insisted to live her life to the fullest till she graduate from Harvard University with a degree of Suma Cum Laude. The story's real and if you havent seen it yet, go dig it anywhere because its worth watching.
"Ten years ago, I was hit by a car. No one expected me to live. I have been paralyzed from the neck down and on a respirator since that time. Tomorrow, I will graduate from Harvard. Miracles happen. They have happened to me and they are happening to you. You need only look at the people in your lives in order to see them." -- Brooke Ellison, Harvard graduation speech
Wish I could be as bright as her though..
Anyway, I guess I wont be attending my class [again, for the 4th time] tomorrow, since I have to work on these stupid sheets of papers which is a part of my requirements for taking the Nursing Licensure Exam and that means me going back to all of those hospitals Ive been too. From city to provincial. Agh. Please kill me.
One more thing that broke my heart today.. Maki's not the vocals of High and Mighty Color anymore. *sobs* I enjoyed and loved that band because of her cute voice and face. And now that they have a new front woman named Halca, I dunno.. I havent seen a picture of her yet nor heard her voice, so I cant compare yet who's better. Its just sad to know that Maki had been with the band and brought the group this far, Im still unsure about why she left but yeah.. sure its reasonable. Hope to hear something about her again maybe in a new band or whatever.
